Dreamers Academy develops bilingual, biliterate, and cross-cultural leaders of character within a caring environment that encourages family engagement and celebrates America.

GUIDING PRINCIPLES
Dreamers Academy follows the model of the Center for Applied Linguistics, currently used by the most successful Dual Language Programs across the country.
The three pillars of Dual Language Education are:
BILINGUALISM & BILITERACY
ASTOUNDING ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT
Students demonstrate high levels of academic achievement, and they will be able to do so in English and in Spanish.
CROSS CULTURAL COMPETENCY
Students develop cross-cultural skills that will enable them to function responsibly and effectively in a variety of social contexts.
Core Values & Character Development
At Dreamers Academy, leadership and character development are embedded throughout all student programs and activities. Students are encouraged to model positive behavior, build healthy relationships, demonstrate responsibility, and become active members of their school and community.
Throughout the school year, scholars participate in activities, discussions, assemblies, and service projects centered around our core values:
- Collaboration – working together, teamwork, and communication
- Empathy – understanding and caring for others
- Happiness & Wonder – promoting positivity, curiosity, creativity, and joy in learning
- Integrity – doing the right thing even when no one is watching
- Perseverance – overcoming challenges, resilience, and growth mindset
Students also participate in activities that promote self-awareness, self-management, emotional regulation, critical thinking, problem-solving, and positive decision-making skills.
FortifyFL
Dreamers Academy promotes FortifyFL, the mobile suspicious activity reporting tool operated by the State of Florida. The application is installed on all mobile devices issued to students, and the site is bookmarked on all computer devices issued to students.
Non-Profit Information
Dreamers Academy is a 501(c)3 organization. Donations are tax deductible.
