The Dreamers Academy PTC is a crew of parents and teachers who show up for students, for staff, and for each other. We plan the events, fund the classrooms, and build the kind of community where every family feels at home, no matter what language they speak or how much time they have to give.

Last year alone, we contributed over $30,000 to Dreamers Academy through teacher grants, an outdoor classroom, family support, and so much more.

🙋 Volunteer With Us

You don’t need to clear your calendar to make a difference. The PTC meets parents where they are. Whether that’s a WhatsApp poll or showing up to the Fun Run in a t-shirt you helped design.

We coordinate through a private Facebook Group and a WhatsApp community, where families opt into events they can support. Chats run across languages, so everyone’s included.

Ready to volunteer with students? You’ll need to register as a Sarasota County School volunteer. There are two levels:

Level 1 — Always within sightline of a teacher or staff member. Great for behind the scenes.
Level 2 — Able to supervise students independently and chaperone field trips. Requires fingerprinting.

We encourage every parent to get Level 2 so you can be there for all the best moments! Need help covering the cost of fingerprinting? Just reach out and we’ll help.
